Freespirit was originally set up in Spring 2000 to provide a place for young Christians to meet together, discover more about God for themselves, for relevant worship, practical teaching and to encourage one another in living out the Christian life.
Freespirit is resourced and support by St Leonard's Church, Eynsham and Eynsham Baptist Church. It grew out of a gathering of local church members with a particular burden to provide an event which was open, relevant and challanging for young people that would compliment and inspire participation in their own church family.
Since it's launch, freespirit has continued to experiment in worship, setting and format. God has really used the evenings to inspire, challenge and grow a fantastic group of young people in experience and commitment in following Jesus!!
